How Cookeryaki Teppanyaki Grill Tables Are Made

Cookeryaki has specialized in the R&D, design and manufacturing of teppanyaki equipment since 2004, backed by over 20 years of production experience from our own factory.

Whether it is a single custom unit or a bulk order of 10–50 units or more for chain store rollouts, Cookeryaki can handle both with its mature production system and manufacturing capability, ensuring both delivery time and quality meet the standard.

Before Production: Design & Drawing

  • 01

    Brief

tell us your menu, seating plan, kitchen layout and voltage, and we advise which shapes, sizes and heating options fit the space and the way you cook.

  • 02

    CAD & 3D layout

our in-house design team draws the grills into your floor plan, so you can see where each unit sits, how the counter flows and how many guests it seats.

  • 03

    Drawing approval

once you sign off, the shape, size, heating system, voltage and finish are locked into the job sheet.

During Production: Five Stages, Fifteen Procedures

From sheet metal and forming to final assembly and testing, production runs through five stages and fifteen controlled procedures, each strictly monitored to ensure consistent standards and stable quality.

Sheet Metal & Forming

Water grinding
  1. 01Laser Cutting

Stainless steel plates and panels are cut to shape on CNC laser cutters, so the outline matches your approved drawing and every unit in a multi-grill order is identical.

  2. 02Water Grinding

Cut plates and panels then go onto water grinding machines for the first pass of grinding and polishing — levelling the surface and preparing it for a clean finish further down the line.

  3. 03CNC Bending

Panels and frames are bent and formed on CNC presses for straight edges and consistent corners — what you notice when the grill is dropped into a counter run.

02

Frame & Integrated Purification

Frame fabrication
  1. 04Frame Fabrication

The equipment frame is fabricated to the drawing, in the shape and size of the unit you ordered. Frame stock is sized to the series, so the table stays rigid under daily commercial use.

  2. 05Integrated Purification System Installation

The exhaust fan and smoke purification unit are built into the body as one integrated system, matched to the configuration you ordered — assembled and sealed in our factory, not added on site.

03

Heating System & Cooktop

Heating system
  1. 06Heating System Installation

Electric heating tubes or induction plates are fitted and set into the body, matched to the plate size and the power supply you have available.

  2. 07Cooktop Plate Fitting & Welding

The teppan plate is positioned and welded to the body. This is where the cooking surface meets the structure, so fit and flatness are checked at this point.

  3. 08Chef-Side Trim

The trim on the chef's side — the face your cooks work from — is fitted and finished, so the working edge is clean, even and safe to use.

  4. 09Countertop & Weld Seam Grinding

Countertops and weld seams are ground, brushed and polished. This is the step that decides how the plate and the surrounding surfaces look, and how easily they clean down.

04

Control & Testing

  1. 10Control Panel & Electricals

Controls, thermostats and internal wiring are installed and labelled to the voltage and plug standard of your country, so the unit arrives ready for local power.

  2. 11Power-On Test

Every unit is powered up and run on the bench: heating, exhaust fan and smoke purification system are all tested before the grill leaves the line — not after it reaches your kitchen.

Finishing & Delivery

  • 12

    Outer Side Panels

The three outer side panels are cut and fitted to close the body, giving the unit its finished appearance and protecting everything built inside it.

  • 13

    Fine Brushing & Polishing

A final fine brushing and polishing pass over the visible surfaces brings up the brushed stainless finish and evens out the whole unit.

  • 14

    Anti-Rust Oil

An anti-rust oil coating is applied to protect the steel during shipping and storage before installation.

  • 15

    Final Inspection & Export Packing

A final inspection checks the plate, finish, fittings and accessories against the job sheet. Units are then packed for export — protective wrap, plywood case or steel frame — and loaded with the loading plan for your container.
