Hibachi Grill Table Applications
Hibachi cooking is a way of cooking in which the chef stands at the counter and prepares the food in front of the guests: ingredients are seared on the steel plate in front of them, and the knife work and the spatula work happen in plain view. The equipment used for it is the Hibachi Grill Table made by Cookeryaki. Hibachi is the name used in the US; in most other regions the same table is called a teppanyaki grill table.
Two kinds are most common: hibachi steakhouses, and Japanese restaurants that serve hibachi alongside sushi. Hibachi tables also turn up in the restaurants and private rooms of hotels, resorts and private clubs, and on casino floors and cruise ships. Fast-casual hibachi counters have grown in recent years, with guests ordering at the counter and eating what comes off the plate. Home use is growing too, from backyard and patio setups to a family recreation room.
The table is more than the steel plate on top. It also includes the counter the guests sit at, the heating system underneath, extraction and fume purification, and storage and workspace below. Heating is electric, with no open flame. The counter can be finished in marble or another material, extraction can be overhead or downdraft, and the size, shape and counter layout are set by the number of seats.
Hibachi Grill Table Factory
Cookeryaki has been developing, manufacturing and selling Hibachi Grill Tables since 2004. Our head office is in Shanghai, where sales, design and engineering work together under one roof. The Hibachi Grill Table factory is in Jiangsu province, and every unit is cut, formed, welded, polished, wired and tested there before it leaves.
We also run our own hibachi restaurants, and many of the details built into a table come from running one. Over the years we have served many restaurant clients in China and overseas, hold dozens of patents granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and export to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Russia, Europe, North America and Latin America.
