Teppanyaki or Hibachi | What is Better?

Now the question is - Teppanyaki or Hibachi which one is better?

Well, to be honest, this is not a valid question, because both Teppanyaki and Hibachi have their own advantages.

Although teppanyaki is more popular in Western culture, hibachi became a star in Japan to make up for this!

As I mentioned earlier, both of these cuisines are art forms from the heart of Japan, and they both have high traditional values.

But I must say that in terms of traditional values, hibachi is a clear winner because it is one of Japan’s oldest creations and it has become part of Japanese rituals.

In Japan, you can see hibachi as the central attraction of the Tea Festival.

Teppanyaki is blooming in Western culture and has become the epitome of Japanese food in Western countries. At the same time, it also represents the superb skills of Japanese chefs as a form of entertainment.

So it's fair to say that Teppanyaki and Hibachi are great in their respective ways, and arguing about which one is the best is just chasing your own tail.
