teppenyaki table for sale | crispy potatoes in teppanyaki style
Fall is in full swing, and although the weather in Miami may not be known yet, my taste buds will! Hungry for some earthy potatoes, we decided to try a new recipe at the Cookeryaki teppenyaki table for sale. As you can see in the photo, this is a very simple and minimal set of utensils and ingredients. Just little yellow potatoes, yellow Onions, olive oil, a little butter, sea salt and fresh cracked white pepper, and a measuring spoon and a few nylon spatulas.
We chose the small yellow potato for two reasons, one to preserve the extra flavor and nutrients in our skin, and the other to retain the texture, which is high in water and has a subtle sweet and buttery taste. When slicing potatoes, try to make them very thin or even, because you'll be layering them and want to not only cook them, but also make them shallow. It's all about the crunchy factor! As for Onions, cut them into thin slices, very thin, too. In this way, they will stay together but spread out to provide the texture of the onion skewers without burning.
For Cookeryaki teppanyaki grill, set the number 5 to preheat. After a few minutes, when you see the heat lamp go off, you can turn the temperature up to no. 8. If you are preparing the temperature in a frying pan, we recommend using medium high temperature. Heat the surface to the right temperature, add 1 tablespoon of oil to the center and cover 1/3 of the potato in a wreath. Season with a little sea salt and white pepper, then let the potatoes cook for about 2 minutes.
If it appears that the first potato has used up most of the first oil, add some oil to the top before placing the second potato in another wreath. Season another layer with a little sea salt and white pepper and let cook for another 2 minutes. Layer and season the potatoes again on the last layer, and remember to add the oil to the other potatoes as needed.
Now let the potatoes cook for about 5 minutes, so that the bottom is starting to get a little brownish and at the same time we get the nice crispy crust we want. After that, use a spatula to start turning the potatoes over so we can start frying the other side. This is where the real fun begins at the Cookeryaki teppanyaki hibachi table! Two people at the table, two spatulas, a lot of fun turning potatoes, talking about what they smelled! After the first flip, we need about 5 minutes of cooking time, then flip some more, and cook the potatoes for another 5 minutes. The inside of the potato layer heats up, so even if we get a nice brown crust on the outside, the inside of the potato chip becomes very soft.
Once the potatoes are a nice golden brown, it's time to add some butter and boil the Onions! We divide a tablespoon of butter into three parts, then wrap it all around the potatoes to melt and distribute evenly, then add the top half of the onion, sliced thinly, to the potatoes, then season with a little sea salt and white pepper. Turn over and cook the first layer of Onions under the potatoes for about 2-3 minutes.
After that, we add the back half of the onion, season with sea salt and white pepper, and then flip the potatoes and Onions for less than 10 minutes. Onions are caramelized and cooked, a bunch of Onions without burning!
It is time to enjoy this delicious labor of fun and love! We've added some fresh chives to our bread, and you can add some sour cream or even chopped cheese if you like. I highly recommend white pepper over black pepper, which adds a beautiful and delicate flavor and is almost floral compared to Onions.
2 portions of recipe:
Heat 3 TBSPS oil
3 cups small yellow potatoes, thinly sliced
Season with sea salt and white pepper
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced lengthwise
Any other decoration, taste
Not only is it super fun and easy to cook, it's also delicious to sit with my friends. Bonus for the Cookeryaki hibachi grill: easy cleanup! Just a little water, low heat and elbow grease to prepare the teppanaki for the next round! Even if I have this on the Cookeryaki teppanyaki table, you can use the same recipe for the skillet. We hope you like it as much as we do!
